Chicken Salad with Prunes and Nuts

This salad is a favorite of festive tables, because the combination of chicken meat with prunes, mushrooms, nuts and cheese is a win-win. The layered salad according to this recipe will satisfy the taste of even the most capricious gourmets, because it is insanely tasty, exquisite and very satisfying.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 500 g
  • Champignons – 500 g
  • Cheese (hard) – 200 g
  • Prunes – 150 g
  • Walnuts – 100 g
  • Bulb onions – 2 pcs.
  • Mayonnaise – 350 g
  • Vegetable oil – 3 tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground black pepper – to taste

Directions

  1. We prepare products for salad with chicken, prunes and nuts.
  2. Boil the chicken fillet (25 minutes after boiling the water).
  3. Meanwhile, pour the prunes with boiling water for 3 minutes. Rinse with cold water and dry.
  4. Peel the onions, chop finely.
  5. My champignons and crumbs.
  6. Preheat the pan. Fry champignons and onions in vegetable oil until golden brown (20-25 minutes), stirring regularly. Salt, pepper.
  7. Finely chop the boiled chicken fillet.
  8. Put the chicken fillet on a plate, salt to taste.
  9. Lubricate the first layer of salad with mayonnaise.
  10. Cut the prunes into small pieces.
  11. We spread on chicken fillet.
  12. Lubricate with mayonnaise.
  13. Three cheese on a coarse grater.
  14. We put it in a dish
  15. Lubricate with a little mayonnaise.
  16. Put the cooled mushrooms and onions on the cheese.
  17. Finely chop the walnuts.
  18. Sprinkle the salad with nuts. (Since the ingredients provided are enough for two bowls of salad, you can experiment with nuts – use lightly toasted or raw. For my taste, raw is better.)
  19. The salad with chicken, prunes and nuts is almost done. We leave in the refrigerator for several hours to “soak”.
