Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken schnitzel (chicken steaks)
  • 4 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 vine tomato (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 400 g tomatoes, passed
  • 2 tablespoon chili sauce
  • 0.5 ½ cup water
  • 1 cup rice
  • 1 pinch (s) sugar
  • salt and pepper
  • 0.5 ½ bunch chives or chives

Instructions

  1. Marinate meat in soy sauce for about 30 minutes.
  2. For the tomato rice, finely dice the onion and clove of garlic and heat them together with the tomatoes, the chilli sauce and the water in a saucepan and simmer for about 5 minutes in a closed saucepan over a low heat.
  3. Stir in the rice and let it steep in an open pot for about 20 minutes. After 10 minutes add the tomatoes cut into pieces and stir in. Stir every now and then. Season with sugar, salt and pepper and stir in the finely chopped garlic chives.
  4. In the meantime, heat the oil in a pan, briefly sear the meat, turn the heat down and cook for about 10 minutes. Season with pepper and salt.
  5. The amount of tomato rice is generous and would certainly be enough for 4 people.
