Ingredients

  • 400 g chicken breast fillet (s)
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 200 g broccoli
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 tablespoon oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, freshly grated
  • 125 g walnuts, halved
  • 1 tablespoon sherry, drier
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon water

Instructions

  1. Rinse the chicken breast fillets with cold water, pat dry and cut into fine strips. Salt and pepper.
  2. Clean and wash broccoli and cut into florets. Peel and finely chop garlic. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil and sauté broccoli for 5 minutes. Take out and keep warm.
  3. Heat the rest of the fat. Braise the ginger and garlic. Add the chicken and fry for about 4 to 6 minutes. Stir in the nut halves.
  4. Mix the sherry, soy sauce and sugar with the cornstarch and water, pour in. Bring to the boil, stirring, until the sauce thickens slightly.
  5. Finally, mix in the broccoli.
