Chocolate Covered Strawberries (Four Flavors)

A fun way to combine fresh strawberries and chocolates.

Ingredients

  • Strawberries – 500-700 g
  • Black chocolate (chocolate plates) for glaze – 200 g
  • Pistachios (or other nuts) – 50-70 g
  • Coconut flakes – 40 g
  • Crispy balls (breakfast cereals) – 150 g
  • White chocolate – to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare strawberries. It is best to prepare a dessert with large and dense strawberries.
  2. You can also use regular dark chocolate, but it is advisable to buy chocolate plates for making icing.
  3. Prepare peeled pistachios or some other nuts.
  4. Plus a bag of coconut flakes, a small package of crispy breakfast balls, and a small piece of white chocolate.
  5. Wash the strawberries without peeling them off, and dry well with a paper towel.
  6. Chop the nuts and put them on a plate.
  7. Crush crispy breakfast balls into crumbs (you can directly in the bag), pour them onto another plate.
  8. Pour the coconut flakes onto the third plate.
  9. Melt the dark chocolate in a water bath. Add a little water or milk and, while heating, stir the glaze until smooth.
  10. Stick two toothpicks into the strawberries from the side of the leaves. Dip strawberries in chocolate icing.
  11. Immediately roll the chocolate-covered strawberries in pistachios, coconut flakes, or dry crumbs.
  12. Leave some of the strawberries in the chocolate glaze and apply a white chocolate pattern on it with a toothpick, which must be melted in a water bath.
