Coconut Cherry Cookies

Cookies are prepared with the addition of coconut flakes, decorated with glazed cherries.
Ingredients
- Butter – 125 g
- Coconut flakes – 60 g
- Glazed cherries (chopped) – 90 g
- Powdered sugar – 150 g
- Large egg – 1 pc.
- Flour – 180 g
- Baking powder – 1 teaspoon.
- Glazed cherries (cut into quarters) – 9 pcs.
How to make coconut cherry cookies:
Directions
- Turn on the oven to preheat to 200 degrees. Cover three large baking sheets with parchment.
- Beat butter with powdered sugar on medium-high speed until fluffy.
- Introduce the egg, beat well.
- Continuing to beat on a low speed, add flour, coconut, and chopped cherries.
- Spoon the 36 slides on prepared baking trays at a distance of 2.5 cm from each other. Put one-quarter of the cherry in each slide.
- Bake the coconut cookies for 10-15 minutes, until golden brown.
