Ingredients

  • 2 cod fillet (s)
  • 4 slices Parma ham
  • 200 ml cream, or Cremefine
  • 50 ml milk
  • 0.5 ½ glass white wine
  • 2 tablespoon cream cheese
  • 0.5 ½ lemon (s), add the juice
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • sage
  • thyme
  • oregano
  • salt and pepper

Cod with Parma Ham in Creamy Lemon Sauce

Instructions

  1. Peel and finely dice the onion and garlic. Wash and finely chop or pluck the herbs.
  2. Clean the cod fillets, wrap each of them with 2 slices of Parma ham and fry them in hot olive oil for 2 minutes. Take out and place in a baking dish.
  3. Fry the onion and garlic in the gravy and deglaze with white wine. Add the cream and milk. Stir in the cream cheese to taste, this will make the sauce a little thicker. Add the fresh herbs and lemon juice and season with salt and pepper. Finally add the brew that has now collected in the baking dish and season again to taste.
  4. Add the sauce to the fish and place in the oven for about 10 minutes at 150 degrees Celsius.
  5. Ribbon noodles are perfect as a side dish. Very tasty with asparagus or tomato salad.
