Ingredients

  • 6 croissant (s) (e.g. from the day before); alternatively raisin rolls, milk rolls
  • 250 g quark
  • 140 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla pudding powder
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 250 ml milk
  • 300 g apples
  • cinnamon
  • Chocolate sauce for decoration
  • Butter for greasing

Instructions

  1. Mix the quark with the sugar and the pudding powder. Then add the me and the eggs and stir until smooth.
  2. Place the croissants in a buttered baking dish. Depending on your taste, peel the apples or cut them into pieces with the skin. Then distribute these around the croissants in the mold. If you like, dust some cinnamon over the apples. Then spread the quark mixture over the apples in the baking dish.
  3. Cook the casserole at 175 degrees with medium humidity in the steam oven for about 25 minutes. (Alternatively: 175 degrees top / bottom heat with a water bowl on the oven floor)
  4. Garnish the finished casserole with a little chocolate sauce and serve.
  5. Tip: A scoop of vanilla ice cream goes wonderfully with the fragrant casserole.
