Ingredients

  • 8 slices bread (country bread)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 bunch parsley, smooth
  • 1 bunch basil
  • 5 tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 2 avocado (s)
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 250 degrees. Roast the bread slices on the top shelf in the oven for 10 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, peel and finely chop the garlic. Wash the parsley and basil, shake dry and roughly chop. Puree the garlic and herbs with olive oil, season with salt and pepper.
  3. Halve, core and peel the avocados. Cut the pulp into cubes and immediately drizzle with lemon juice.
  4. Spread the herb puree on the toasted bread slices. Spread the avocado cubes on top, coarsely grind the pepper over it and serve.
