Ingredients

1 cucumber (s)
0.25 teaspoon ¼ spice paste (ginger-garlic paste, see below)
1 bunch parsley, smooth, chopped
1 tablespoon peanuts, roughly chopped
2 cups yogurt
0.5 teaspoon ½ mustard, hotter
salt

Instructions

Wash, clean and roughly grate the cucumber. Put the grated cucumber in a cloth and squeeze it out well.
Mix yoghurt, mustard, parsley and ginger-garlic paste into a sauce and season with salt. Mix the grated cucumber with the sauce and let everything stand in the refrigerator for about 1 hour.
Sprinkle with the peanuts before serving.
With the yogurt, this salad immediately eliminates the stinging of the mouth when eating spicy dishes.
Ginger and garlic paste: Finely puree equal amounts of ginger root and garlic cloves in a blender. Keeps in the refrigerator for about 2 weeks. Freezes well.
