Currant Smoothie

Do you want to drink a healthy drink based on fermented milk products and berries? In hot summers, a currant smoothie is an especially good option to cool off and refresh yourself with a low-calorie drink.

Ingredients

  • Black currant – 200 Grams
  • Low-fat kefir – 250 Grams
  • Banana – 1 Piece

Directions

  1. Berries, fruits and low-fat kefir are the main ingredients of a currant smoothie. A low-calorie drink made with your own hands in 15 minutes will help you to refresh and cool down in hot summer. So, thoroughly wash the black currants, then put them in a blender and chop them.
  2. Cut the banana and send it to the berries. We continue to grind at full capacit
  3. Finally, add a glass of kefir. Better to take low-fat kefir or 1%.
  4. When the mass is homogeneous, you need to send it to the refrigerator for a while (if you like cool drinks).
  5. You can add different fruits and berries, nuts or dried fruits to the smoothie – according to your taste. You can also make smoothies with yogurt or regular milk.
