Ingredients

  • 500 g minced meat (beef)
  • 2 bell pepper (s)
  • 1 large onion (s), chopped
  • Curry powder
  • salt
  • pepper
  • 1 cup rice (large cup)
  • 1 can corn
  • possibly cheese if required
  • oil

Instructions

  1. Put on the rice and cook according to the instructions on the packet.
  2. Wash the peppers and cut into short strips or cubes. Fry together with the corn in a little hot oil, then remove. Then put the chopped onion in the pan and fry until translucent. Add the minced meat and fry until crumbly. Add plenty of curry powder (depending on the variety) and fry with it.
  3. As soon as the rice is cooked, add it to the pan and mix with the vegetables and meat. Season everything well. If you like, you can add some cheese to the hot dish before serving.
  4. Tip: It looks especially nice when you color the rice with turmeric. Not particularly authentic - but if you like it creamy, you can put a dollop of sour cream on your plate and fold it in. That tastes fresh.
