Ingredients

  • 300 grams flour
  • 150 grams sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
  • 200 g butter or mararine, soft
  • 200 g walnuts, rouhly chopped
  • 200 g date (s), pitted, chopped into small pieces
  • 250 ml milk
  • 2 egg (s), lightly beaten
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 190 ° C. Grease a 30 cm loaf pan. Add the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt to the mixing bowl of the food processor. Put the butter in flakes on top. Process into a crumbly mass. Alternately add nuts, dates, milk and eggs in portions until everything is combined.
  2. Pour the batter into the mold. Bake for about 90 minutes, make a stick test. Let the cake cool down in the mold for 10 minutes, then remove from the mold and let cool down completely on a wire rack.
