Ingredients

  • 500 g chicken fillet (s)
  • 2 medium onion (s)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 2 bell pepper (s), green
  • 2 stalks celery
  • 500 g tomato (s)
  • 100 g ham, smoked
  • 150 g Cabanossi
  • 250 g rice
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 0.25 liter ¼ chicken broth
  • 250 g tomato puree
  • 1 teaspoon thyme, dried
  • 0.5 ½ bunch spring onion (s)
  • 2 stalk / s lovage
  • salt and pepper
  • Cayenne pepper

Instructions

  1. Wash, pat dry and dice the meat. Peel and dice the onions and garlic. Clean, wash and chop the vegetables. Dice ham, cut sausage into slices.
  2. Put the rice in boiling salted water and cover and let soak over low heat for approx. 20 minutes, drain, keep warm.
  3. Fry the meat in hot oil. Add the ham, sausage, onions, garlic, paprika and celery one after the other, fry briefly. Add tomatoes. Deglaze with the chicken stock and tomato sauce. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and thyme. Bring to the boil and simmer covered for approx. 15-20 minutes.
  4. Clean and wash the spring onions and cut into pieces. Wash and finely chop the lovage. Add both to the stew shortly before the end of the cooking time. Season to taste and serve with rice.
