Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 100 g marzipan raw mixture
  • 2 egg (s)
  • 75 g butter
  • 50 grams sugar
  • 1 point vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 10 drops bitter almond flavor
  • 80 g flour (wheat flour, type 405)
  • 20 g cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon, leveled baking powder

For decoration:

  • 100 g powdered suar
  • 2 raisins
  • some butter, for the mold and
  • some flour

Instructions

  1. Mix the marzipan mixture and eggs well. Stir in butter, sugar, vanilla sugar, salt, bitter almond oil and keep stirring until the sugar is dissolved.
  2. Mix the flour, cornstarch and baking powder. Stir into the prepared mixture. Lightly grease the lamb form with soft butter and then dust the form with a little flour. Pour in the dough and smooth it out.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven on the bottom rack at 175 ° C (electric stove) for approx. 40-45 minutes. Take out the lamb and let it cool down for approx. 10-15 minutes. Remove the lamb from the mold. As soon as the Easter lamb is almost cold, press the 2 raisins into the dough as eyes, then put the powdered sugar in a sieve and dust the lamb thickly with the sugar.
