Focaccia with Cheese and Herbs Ingredients

Flour – 500 g

  • Fresh yeast – 20 g
  • Plain or mineral water (cold) – 325 ml
  • Salt with herbs (regular) – 3 pinches
  • Sugar – 10 g
  • Olive oil – 3 tablespoons

Focaccia with Cheese and Herbs

For filling:

  • Hard cheese – 400 g
  • Feta cheese or feta cheese (optional)
  • Rosemary
  • Thyme
  • Oregano
  • Olive oil

Focaccia with Cheese and Herbs Instructions

  1. Dissolve yeast and sugar in 325 ml of cold water. Add salt and sweet water with yeast to the flour. Stir with a spoon. Add 3 tbsp olive oil.

  2. Knead the dough with your hands for 10 minutes. Let stand under cling film for 30 minutes.
  3. Divide the dough into 2 parts. Spread half of the dough with your hands over a greased mold. Apply olive oil, herbs, and cheese to the dough. From the second part of the dough, you can make thin focaccia with feta cheese or feta cheese.

  4. We bake focaccia with cheese in an oven preheated to 200 degrees for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Focaccia with cheese and Provencal herbs is ready.
