Ingredients

  • 700 ml water, lukewarm
  • 50 g yeast
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 2 teaspoons oil
  • 1 kg flour (type 550)
  • Fat for the shape

Instructions

  1. Mix lukewarm water with the yeast. Add salt and oil. Slowly add the flour and knead until it becomes a smooth dough. Let the dough rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Knead again briefly and shape into two loaves of bread. Place on the baking plate or in a greased 2 liter bread pan. Let it rest for another 20 minutes. Then cut into the bread and brush with water.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 225 ° C for about 35 minutes.
