Ingredients
- 1 kg asparagus, white or green
- 2 tablespoon butter, possibly a little more
- 1 tablespoon, leveled sugar, white or brown
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice or lime juice
- 1 chilli pepper (s), Thai or similarly hot
- 500 g ribbon noodles, fully cooked
- 2 tablespoon walnut oil, optional
- 2 handfuls shrimp or diced ham
- 1 pinch (s) salt

- Peel the asparagus and cut into pieces about 4 cm long, cut off the green asparagus about 3 cm at the bottom. Thick bars can still be cut in half.
- Heat the butter in a pan and lightly caramelize with the sugar. If you want spiciness, add the chilli now.
- Add the asparagus and the diced ham or shrimp and fry, stirring constantly. When the asparagus is done, add the lemon juice and a little salt.
- The pre-cooked ribbon noodles can now be mixed with the asparagus and heated if necessary. The addition of 2 tablespoons of walnut oil is particularly recommended.
- If you leave out the shrimp or the ham cubes, the dish is vegetarian.
