Ingredients

  • 350 ml oil (olive oil)
  • 300 g onion (s)
  • 5 cloves garlic, (depending on taste!)
  • 600 g Shrimp (s) / Kins Prawns
  • 5 chilli pepper (s) (piri-piri, also to taste)
  • 1 leaf bay leaves
  • 1 sprig rosemary
  • 5 basil leaves
  • salt

Instructions

  1. Let the olive oil get very hot in a pan. Add the onions and fry for 1 minute, then add the crushed (if you like it just chopped) garlic and the only lightly salted prawns (also works great with frozen prawns!). Simmer in it for a good 10 minutes. After about 5 minutes add the rosemary and the remaining herbs. Serve with fresh ciabatta and e.g. a tomato salad.
  2. I also like to make this dish in the wok directly on the table, very cozy and smells wonderful. Bay leaves and basil are also really not absolutely necessary. But there are more prawns per person.
