Ingredients
- 400 grams bacon
- some oil or butter or margarine
- 4 medium onion (s)
- 2 cloves garlic)
- 200 g cream cheese with or without herbs
- 200 ml cream
- 4 tablespoon flour
- 300 ml water
- 1 pinch (s) pepper from the mill
- 100 ml white wine, possibly
- possibly parsley, fresh
- possibly mushrooms

- Finely cut the bacon (small squares). Peel the onion and garlic, remove the middle strand, dice finely.
- Put a little fat in the pan and lightly roast the bacon, then add the onions and garlic and roast. When the bacon looks slightly crispy and the onions are translucent, the roasting process is finished.
- Now pour the flour over it and pour the liquid (cream and water) over it. Finally add the cream cheese and stir until it has dissolved. The sauce should simmer for a while. Season with pepper. If the sauce is too thick, more liquid can be added.
- It is a good idea to replace some of the water with a sparkling white wine if no children are eating. After it`s finished, you can add freshly chopped parsley or mushrooms from the jar to the sauce to refine it. When using fresh mushrooms, they should be added right at the beginning after the bacon has been roasted.
- Homemade pasta tastes great for us - then the sauce has to be allowed to go a little faster
