Garlic Tomato Chutney

- Soak red pepper, if using dry or with disposable gloves, grind fresh chili.
- Heat oil in a frying pan, add onion and crushed garlic, simmer over low heat for 4-5 minutes, until vegetables are golden brown.
- Add pepper and salt to the pan and simmer again for 2-3 minutes.
- Add tomatoes and simmer for 10-12 minutes until they become very soft and crinkle easily.
- Allow the mixture to cool.
- Add cilantro and green onions, stir and serve chutney with any meat dishes
