How to make the Strong Max German Warm Sandwich:

German Warm Sandwich “Strong Max” Instructions

  1. Fry the rye bread on one side in a little olive oil. (You can fry everything in butter.)
  2. Turn the bread over, rub the toasted side with garlic if desired. Place a slice of hard cheese (good quality) on one slice of bread, heat low, the cheese will begin to melt.

  3. Remove a piece of toasted bread without cheese from the pan, put a circle of ham in its place. Fry it until golden brown.
  4. Remove the melted cheese bread from the pan onto a paper towel. Break an egg in its place, quickly fry it – the protein should cook, and the yolk should remain liquid.
German Warm Sandwich “Strong Max” step 4
  5. Put the fried ham on hot bread with cheese, put an egg on top, add a little pepper. To make a real sandwich, top the sandwich with a second toasted piece of bread. Serve the German cheese, ham, and egg sandwich immediately, hot.

Bon Appetit!
