Ingredients

  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ cinnamon powder
  • 1 tablespoon turmeric powder
  • 0.25 teaspoon ¼ coriander powder
  • 1 teaspoon, heaped ginger, fresh, ground
  • 120 ml water
  • 1 cup almond milk (almond drink), warm or other nut or soy milk
  • agave syrup
  • 0.5 teaspoon ½ coconut oil
  • Pepper, black, freshly ground

Instructions

  1. First, the spice paste is made. To do this, cinnamon, turmeric, coriander, ginger and water are put in a small saucepan and boiled over low heat for five minutes. When a thick paste has formed, it is best to store it in a small jar. The paste will keep fresh for about four days in the refrigerator.
  2. To prepare the golden milk, the warm almond milk is mixed with approx. 1 teaspoon of the paste and sweetened with agave syrup as desired.
  3. At the very end, add the coconut oil and a pinch of black pepper on top.
  4. A super healthy Ayurvedic drink is ready, which has an anti-inflammatory, immune system-strengthening and awakening effect.
