Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 tablespoon vegetable oil, neutral
  • 3 tablespoon pickles, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon onion (s), finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon corn kernels, finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper (s), finely chopped
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Mix the mustard, honey and oil thoroughly.
  2. Thoroughly squeeze the cucumber cubes until no more cucumber water comes out.
  3. Stir the finely chopped vegetables into the mustard mixture. Puree everything very briefly with the hand blender - but only so that the vegetables are still chopped up a bit, but not properly pureed into pulp. The sauce should stay slightly chunky!
  4. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
  5. In the end, everyone can vary the ratio of mustard and honey to suit their taste.
  6. The sauce goes well with grilled food - including vegetable skewers. It is also suitable as a dip for bread and fresh vegetables or as a spread or as a seasoning sauce for sandwiches, etc.
