Ingredients

  • 3 bell peppers, red, green, yellow
  • 1 small Can (s) beans, white
  • 3 potato (s)
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 125 g smoked pork, lean or cooked ham
  • 500 ml vegetable stock
  • 125 ml red wine, mild or sweet, or orange juice
  • 1 tablespoon ajvar, or tomato paste
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • salt
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • Curry powder
  • Paprika powder (rose paprika)
  • 1 dash balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. Roughly diced the onion and the garlic in the oil until translucent and fry lightly with the potatoes cut into small cubes, then add the peppers, which are more like spots, and sauté gently with a little vegetable stock for about 15 minutes.
  2. Add the salts, pepper and the other spices and 1 tablespoon ajvar and pour in the remaining vegetable stock. Add the white beans.
  3. Season and season to taste and add the smoked pork chop cut into strips or cubes and simmer again, do not cook any more.
  4. To refine the taste, add the sweet red wine or refine with orange juice. A dash of balsamic vinegar rounds off the soup. The taste should be hot and sweet.
