Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry from the refrigerated shelf
  • 1 packet custard powder (vanilla flavor)
  • 400 ml milk
  • 4 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 teaspoon cream
  • 1 glass cherry (s) (imperial cherries)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the pudding with the sugar according to the package instructions, but not with 500 ml, but with the specified 400 ml of milk. Then let it cool down and stir occasionally.
  2. Take the puff pastry out of the packaging, roll out and divide into 8 parts. Drain the cherries well on a sieve. Mix the egg yolks and cream.
  3. Brush all the edges of the corners with the egg yolk and cream mixture and fold the edges in half. Brush the newly created edges with egg yolk again and spread the pudding in the middle. Then press the cherries on it.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven at 200 ° C for about 12 minutes and remove. Consume on the same day, the next day the puff pastry tastes old and tough.
