Ingredients
- g 1,250 sweet cherries, pitted
- 750 g banana (s), peeled
- 2 packs citric acid
- 2 packs preserving sugar, : 1
- 50 ml Malibu Coconut Rum (to taste)

- Cut the bananas into small pieces and bring to the boil together with the cherries and the preserving sugar. Take the pot off the stove and use the hand blender to chop up the mixture (I puree everything completely, but you can also leave bits and pieces). Put the pot back on the stove and let the jam simmer for four minutes. Keep stirring.
- Do the jelly test and if you want, add the Malibu and let the whole thing boil again briefly.
- Immediately pour the jam into jars rinsed with hot water, close with a lid and turn upside down for five minutes. Then turn it over again and let it cool down.
- It is best to store the jam in a cool, dry and dark place. This is how it lasts the longest.
- The mass is enough for eleven 230ml glasses.
