  • 1 pork knuckle (s), (ham pork knuckle)
  • 1 sachet sauerkraut
  • 2 onions)
  • 1 small carrot
  • 3 grains allspice
  • 5 grains pepper
  • 1 bay leaf
  • 4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 liter water

Instructions

  1. Wash the pork knuckle and place in a large saucepan with all the ingredients (including the sauerkraut), fill with water until the meat is covered. Now cook over medium heat for about 2 hours. When the meat is tender, arrange the broth with sauerkraut on a deep plate.
  2. Boiled potatoes that I put on the plate also taste good.
  3. The meat is served on a separate plate and everyone can eat the meat as they wish.
