Ingredients

  • 500 g leek
  • 3 tablespoon vinegar
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 200 ml water, salted

Instructions

  1. Clean the leek and cut into thick rings. Bring salted water to a boil in a shallow saucepan. Cook the leek rings in it for 15 minutes. Drain the leek, collect salted water. Return the salted water to the saucepan and bring to the boil with vinegar and sugar, thicken with potato starch. Then stir the leek briefly through the sauce.
  2. Beef with boiled potatoes also tastes good.
