Ingredients

  • 4 leeks
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg
  • 250 ml vegetable broth or meat broth
  • some cornstarch
  • 1 tablespoon oil
  • 3 tablespoon breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg (s)
  • Worcester sauce

Instructions

  1. Cut the leek into slices and wash well.
  2. Mix the mince, egg, breadcrumbs and a little pepper and salt together and form small dumplings. Heat oil in a large saucepan and fry the dumplings brown all over for about 5 minutes. Deglaze with the broth, add the leek and cover and simmer for another 5 minutes. Season to taste with salt, pepper, Worcestershire sauce and nutmeg and thicken with a little cornstarch if you like.
  3. Boiled potatoes taste good with it.
