Ingredients

  • 500 g pasta, three-colored
  • 1 onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 leek
  • 250 g ham, cooked
  • 8 tablespoon oil
  • 125 g lentils, red
  • 250 ml broth
  • 4 tablespoon balsamic vinegar
  • salt
  • pepper
  • sugar
  • chives
  • parsley

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta until al dente as indicated on the package.
  2. Finely dice the onion and garlic, clean the leek and cut into fine strips. Dice the boiled ham.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a saucepan and sauté onion and garlic in it. Add the leek and ham and sauté briefly. Finally add the red lentils and the broth. With the lid closed, simmer for 5-8 minutes until the lentils are cooked (they should never fall apart).
  4. Fold in the drained pasta.
  5. Mix the remaining oil with the balsamic vinegar and season with salt, pepper and a little sugar. Pour over the pasta and mix everything well.
  6. Chop the herbs and sprinkle over the pasta salad.
