Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 200 g sour cream
  • 80 g suar

  • 100 g flour

  • 4 tablespoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. First of all, put the butter out of the refrigerator so that it is room warm by the time you use it. Prepare the other ingredients.
  2. Cut the marzipan into small pieces. Wash, peel and core the apples and cut into thin slices.
  3. Then make a dough from the first 9 ingredients: Mix the sugar and butter. Add the eggs, sour cream and cinnamon. Sift in the flour mixture together with the baking powder and mix in the marzipan. Finally fold the apples into the batter.
  4. Now melt the 70 g butter for the crumble on a low temperature. Meanwhile, pour the batter into the molds.
  5. Then preheat the oven to 180 ° C.
  6. When the butter is liquid but not too hot, add 1 teaspoon of cinnamon and mix with the remaining crumble ingredients (100 g flour, 70 g sugar and 1 pinch of salt) using the dough hook of the mixer. The quantity distribution of the individual ingredients is correct if sprinkles are created when stirring.
  7. Spread the crumble on the muffins (the muffin molds get relatively full and the dough continues to rise while baking, but nothing should run or overflow).
  8. Bake the muffins in the oven (center) for 25-30 minutes at a temperature of around 180 ° C. Then take it out, let it cool down briefly and remove it from the mold.
  9. Mix together lemon juice and powdered sugar and process to a glaze. Put lemon juice in a bowl and fill with powdered sugar until it becomes thick. The amount can also be reduced according to taste. When the muffins have cooled, pour the lemon icing over them.
