Ingredients
- 1 cucumber (s)
- 0.5 ½ teaspoon, leveled salt
- 2 tablespoon vinegar
- 3 tablespoon water, cold
- 3 teaspoons sugar
- 0.25 teaspoon ¼ pepper
- 250 g potato (s)
- 0.5 teaspoon ½ salt
- 1 teaspoon rapeseed oil
- 50 g diced ham

- Peel the potatoes and cut them into smaller cubes, then they`ll cook faster. Add 0.5 teaspoon salt and cook covered with water.
- Peel the cucumber and grate it on the grated cucumber, sprinkle 0.5 teaspoons of salt over it, mix
- and put aside. Let it steep for about 10 minutes.
- In the meantime, put the vinegar, water, sugar and pepper in a bowl and stir with a spoon until the sugar has dissolved. Now add the cucumber with the drawn water and mix well. The salad should be sweet and sour with a peppery note. Possibly add seasoning.
- Leave the ham cubes with the oil in a small pan.
- When the potatoes are done, they are drained and the cooking water collected.
- Now mash the potatoes and add about 50 ml of cooking water. The mash should not be too fluid, but smooth. Finally stir in the ham cubes.
- Place the mashed potatoes in the middle of a plate and make a hollow in the mash with a fork
- and put the cucumber salad in there.
- Of course, every cucumber salad can be eaten as a mash, and whoever is mashed it
- and don`t like salad on a plate, eat it from a separate bowl.
