  • 1 kg beef
  • vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 10 peppercorns
  • 10 juniper berries
  • 2 bay leaves
  • 2 thick carrot (s)
  • 1 onion (s)
  • Sauce thickener

Instructions

  1. Chop the onions and carrots and put them in a saucepan with the meat and all other ingredients. Pour enough vinegar into the saucepan until the meat is covered. Leave closed in the refrigerator for 3 - 4 days.
  2. Remove the meat from the marinade and put it together with 1/4 liter of marinade and all the vegetables in an ovenproof saucepan with a lid or a baking dish closed with aluminum foil.
  3. Cook in the oven at 200 ° C (top, bottom or convection) for approx. 2 - 2.5 hours. After about 2 to 2.5 hours, take the meat out of the pan or casserole dish. Sieve the marinade and thicken with sauce powder.
