Ingredients

  • 300 g chicken breast
  • 2 tablespoon oil (sesame oil, peanut oil or walnut oil)
  • 4 tablespoon sauce (teriyaki sauce)
  • 1 tablespoon peanut cream
  • 2 teaspoons sambal oelek
  • 1 teaspoon spice paste (Sambal Manis)
  • 4 bell peppers, red and yellow
  • 150 g noodles (Mie noodles)
  • 100 g cashew nuts
  • Onion (s), roasted

Instructions

  1. Mix sesame oil, teriyaki sauce, peanut cream, sambal oelek and sambal manis with a small whisk to form a marinade. Wash the chicken breast, pat dry and remove the fat. Then cut into thin strips and marinate for about 30 minutes.
  2. In the meantime, wash and clean the peppers and cut into 2 to 3 cm pieces.
  3. Put the peppers in the pan with a dash of sesame oil, then season with salt and fry on high for about 3 minutes. Then add the meat with the marinade and continue to fry on a medium heat until everything has the desired consistency.
  4. Prepare the Mie noodles according to the instructions on the packet and then add them to the pan. Mix everything well and add the teriyaki sauce if necessary. Fry for about 3 minutes on the highest setting so that the noodles are still slightly toasted.
  5. Roast the cashew nuts in a pan without adding any fat.
  6. It is of course served in small bowls. First add the pasta, then sprinkle the cashew nuts and fried onions over the top. Serve immediately.
