Ingredients

For the dough:

  • 375 grams flour
  • 1 packet yeast (dry yeast)
  • 75 grams sugar
  • 125 ml milk
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 1 egg white
  • 75 g butter, soft

For the filling:

  • 375 ml milk
  • 1 packet pudding powder, chocolate
  • 125 g Nutella
  • 100 g brittle crumble
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1 tablespoon milk

Instructions

  1. For the dough, sieve the flour into a bowl and mix with the sugar and yeast.
  2. Add the milk, egg, egg white and butter in pieces and knead everything into a smooth dough. Cover and let rise in a warm water bath for about 1 hour.
  3. In the meantime, mix the pudding powder with some of the milk and bring the rest to the boil. Stir in pudding powder and cook until thick while stirring. Then stir in the Nutella and let it cool. Stir regularly so that no skin develops.
  4. Roll out the dough on a well-floured work surface the size of a baking sheet and spread the filling on it. Sprinkle with the brittle crumble and roll up carefully from the longer side. Halve lengthways and twist the two strands of dough around each other.
  5. Place in a wreath or U on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and cover again and leave to rise for about 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  7. Whisk egg yolks with milk and brush the surface of the dough with it.
  8. Bake for about 30-40 minutes. If it gets too dark, cover with aluminum foil.
