Ingredients
- 2 clove (s) garlic (s)
- 4 tablespoon walnuts, chopped
- 2 teaspoons olive oil
- 125 g red pepper (s)
- 120 g low-fat quark
- 80 g yourt, 1.5%
- 3 tablespoon chives, cut into rolls
- some nutmeg, freshly grated
- 1 pinch (s) sugar
- some salt from the mill
- some pepper, more colorful, from the mill

- Peel the garlic cloves and dice them. Heat the oil in a pan and roast the garlic and chopped walnuts in it until they have turned a golden yellow color. This can take about 3 minutes. Wash the pepper piece and dice very finely.
- Mix the low-fat quark with the yoghurt in a bowl and stir in the walnut mixture and the pepper pieces.
- Refine the spread with the chives and season with salt, pepper, nutmeg and sugar. Serve with toasted slices of wholemeal toast or bread.
