Instructions

  1. Crumble the yeast in a large bowl and mix with the honey. Add lukewarm water, buttermilk, salt and vinegar. Add the flour and knead in until a smooth dough is formed (the amount of flour can vary +/- 150 g). Cover and let the dough rise for a good half an hour until it has doubled.
  2. Now shape 3 loaves of bread from the dough, place on a prepared baking sheet and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  3. Put top / bottom heat in the preheated oven at 200 ° C (no circulating air!). After a baking time of 20 minutes, turn the temperature down to 160 ° C. The bread needs a total of 45-50 minutes in the oven.

About Editorial Staff

The Boss Kitchen editorial staff oversees content review, fact-checking, and recipe verification across the site. Published articles pass through the editorial team before going live, ensuring ingredient lists, techniques, cooking times, and nutritional claims hold up in a home kitchen. The team coordinates contributions across the site writers, handles reader corrections, and maintains consistency in measurement conventions, safety guidance, and dietary labeling. Posts under this byline typically represent team-reviewed reference material, site announcements, or editorial roundups rather than individual-author features, and they are held to the same sourcing standards as bylined recipe and product coverage.
