Ingredients

  • 1 long white bread (e), large and wide
  • 4 hard-boiled egg (s)
  • 1 packet cream cheese
  • 0.5 ½ pack cream cheese - preparation (brunch paprika)
  • 2 spring onion (s)
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 4 slices salami
  • 4 slices ham, cooked
  • 0.5 ½ bell pepper (s), red
  • 1 slice / s cheese (Gouda)
  • Parsley, chopped
  • Chives, chopped
  • Basil, chopped
  • Lemon balm, chopped
  • salt
  • paprika

Instructions

  1. Halve the bread crosswise, cut off the ends and carefully remove the crumb with a long knife.
  2. Mix the crumb with the egg yolk, cream cheese and brunch. Add the finely chopped spring onions, parsley, chives, some basil and lemon balm, the crushed clove of garlic, small cubes of ham and salami, the finely diced paprika half and the finely diced Gouda. Finally mix in the egg white, which is not too finely chopped. Season with salt and pepper or a little paprika.
  3. Push the filling into the bread from both sides and press firmly. Wrap in aluminum foil and place in the refrigerator for several hours (even overnight).
  4. Cut into slices to serve.
  5. Tastes good with wine or beer. Ideal as a small snack for guests.
