Pilaf with Chicken Hearts (in a Slow Cooker)

This pilaf with hearts always turns out to be tasty, crumbly and quite low in calories. Ingredients

  • Rice – 1.5 cups
  • Chicken hearts – 150 g
  • Carrots – 1 pc.
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Bulgarian pepper – 0.5 pcs.
  • Tomato – 1 pc.
  • Greens to taste
  • Vegetable oil – 2 tbsp
  • Bay leaf – 1 pc.
  • Ground black pepper – to taste
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare the required ingredients.
  2. Rinse the rice well several times and fill it with clean water in a multicooker bowl in a 1: 1 ratio.
  3. Cut off all unnecessary from chicken hearts, cut them in half, rinse, peeling the hearts in the middle.
  4. Add hearts to the rice.
  5. Cut onion, peppers and tomatoes into small pieces. Grate the carrots on a coarse grater. Place all vegetables in the multicooker bowl.
  6. Finely chop the greens, add to the vegetables in a slow cooker. Pour in salt and ground pepper, add bay leaf. Pour in vegetable oil.Mix the rice with chicken hearts, vegetables and  herbs well with a multicooker spoon.
  7. Set the “Pilaf” program on the multicooker display for 1 hour and press the “Start” button. Do not open the lid of the multicooker until the end of cooking signal sounds.
