Ingredients

  • 4 fish fillet (s) (plaice fillets)
  • 1 egg (s)
  • salt and pepper
  • Flour and breadcrumbs

For the sauce:

  • some oil, for frying
  • 1 tablespoon butter, to advise against
  • 1 small onion (s), (very finely chopped)
  • 0.5 tablespoon ½ mustard, (medium hot)
  • 75 ml white wine
  • 1 cup cream (if you like, you can also use sour cream or creme fraiche)
  • dill
  • Sauce thickener
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

  1. Salt and pepper the fish and turn in flour. Mix the egg in the plate, turn the fish in the egg and then in the breadcrumbs. Then fry the fish in the oil and the tablespoon of butter until golden brown.
  2. Remove the fish fillets and briefly toast the onions in the fat, deglaze with wine and briefly bring to the boil. Let the whole thing reduce a bit.
  3. Now stir in the mustard and cream well. Season well with dill, salt and pepper.
  4. Tip: Go with boiled potatoes as well as rice and a fresh salad.
