Ingredients

  • 350 g pork fillet (s), (in one piece)
  • 2 cloves garlic)
  • 1 teaspoon oil (e.g. olive oil)
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs (fresh, dried or frozen - e.g. rosemary, thyme, oregano)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 150 ° C.
  2. Peel the garlic and dice finely, chop or grind the herbs if necessary.
  3. Wash the pork tenderloin and pat dry.
  4. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the pork tenderloin whole on all sides.
  5. Spread a double-layered piece of aluminum foil (large enough to wrap the piece of meat in it) on the work surface. Spread half of the chopped garlic in the middle, slightly larger than the piece of meat.
  6. Add salt, pepper and herbs to the garlic, place the seared piece of meat on top.
  7. Spread the other half of the garlic on top, season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with herbs.
  8. Wrap the meat tightly in the aluminum foil and place in the oven.
  9. Put the oven down to approx. 130 ° C and cook the meat for 15 - 20 minutes to the end.
  10. This fits e.g., Asparagus risotto.
