Ingredients

  • 1 packet puff pastry, from the refrigerated shelf
  • 1 packet yeast dough, from the refrigerated shelf
  • 1 packet custard powder, vanilla
  • 40 g suar
  • 400 ml milk
  • 50 ml cream
  • 2 egg yolks
  • some frosting

Instructions

  1. Roll up the puff pastry and yeast dough, place the two sheets of dough on top of each other and cut to the same size if something protrudes from a dough.
  2. Cut the pastry sheets lengthways into strips about 2 cm wide. Twist the strands together and shape them into pretzels. Place the pretzels on a tray.
  3. Prepare the pudding according to the instructions on the package, but with the ingredients listed here (milk, cream, sugar). Remove some of the pudding mixture and stir quickly with the 2 egg yolks. Then stir this quickly into the pudding. Spread the pudding over the pretzels.
  4. Bake at 175 degrees convection for about 20-23 minutes.
  5. Allow to cool and brush with icing sugar.
