Ingredients

  • 14 balls confectionery (Raffaello)
  • 125 g suar
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 4 medium egg yolks
  • 250 ml milk
  • 200 ml cream

Instructions

  1. Heat the Raffaellos in a saucepan with sugar, milk and egg yolks. Mash the balls with a pounder and stir for about 10 minutes over medium heat - do not boil. Whip the cream until stiff and fold in.
  2. Pour the mixture into the ice cream maker and let it freeze. This takes about 1 hour, depending on the ice machine.
