  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 250 ml red wine
  • 40 g suar, crystal
  • 40 g honey
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 1 lemon (s), untreated
  • 1 orange (s), untreated

Instructions

  1. Peel the figs and cut in half crosswise. Mix the starch in 2 tablespoons of water. Bring red wine with sugar, honey, vanilla sugar, cinnamon bark, lemon peel and orange peel to the boil and reduce for 3 minutes. Stir in the starch and simmer for 1 min. Pour the sauce over the figs and let it steep for at least 12 hours.
