Ingredients

  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g powdered suar, sifted
  • 1 packet vanilla sugar
  • 1 pinch (s) salt
  • 1 egg (s)
  • 200 g butter
  • 50 g almond (s), round
  • 2 tablespoon water
  • 1 egg (s), whisked for brushing
  • 40 g flaked almonds

Instructions

  1. For the dough, knead the first 8 ingredients into a smooth dough. If it sticks, wrap the dough in foil and put it in the fridge for a while.
  2. Roll out on a floured work surface about ½ cm thick, cut out cookies about 4 cm in diameter and place on baking sheets lined with baking paper. Brush the biscuits with the beaten egg and sprinkle with flaked almonds.
  3. Bake in the preheated oven at 180 ° C for about 10 minutes. Put the baking paper on a wire rack and let it cool.
