Wash and clean the lettuce - drain well or, even better, use a salad spinner.
Divide into bite-sized pieces and cut the mozzarella and tomato into small cubes.
Mix 3 tablespoons of oil and vinegar with approx. 1 tablespoon of water, season well with salt and pepper, add 1/2 teaspoon of mustard, add 1 pinch of sugar. Mix in the salad herbs and season with Maggi to taste.
Add half of the mozzarella and tomato cubes to the sauce and let it steep for a short time (approx. 1 minute). Then add the lettuce and mix well. Finally, peel the egg and divide it with the egg cutter - done!
Fresh ciabatta or baguette tastes great with it, be it as a main course, but also as an accompaniment to meat / poultry, for example!
Instead of tomatoes you can of course also use red peppers - there are no limits to your imagination.
