Salad with Chicken, Chinese Cabbage, Feta Cheese and Sour Cream-Mustard Dressing

The salad with chicken, Chinese cabbage and feta cheese is delicious, juicy and tender. The sour cream dressing gives the salad a light creamy note, the mustard and garlic – the piquancy, and the lemon juice – the sourness.

Ingredients

  • Chicken fillet – 250 g
  • Peking cabbage – 150 g
  • Bryndza – 170 g
  • Eggs – 3 pcs.
  • Salt – 1 pinch

  • For refueling:
  • Sour cream with a fat content of 15% – 3 tbsp (with a small slide)
  • Mustard – 1 teaspoon or to taste
  • Garlic – 1 clove
  • Lemon juice – 1 tbsp
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Prepare your ingredients.
  2. Boil the chicken fillet first. To do this, pour about 1 liter of water into a saucepan and bring it to a boil. Add a pinch of salt to the water and lower the fillets. Cook the fillets for about 15-20 minutes on low heat from the moment of boiling. Allow the finished chicken fillet to cool completely.
  3. Boil eggs hard-boiled. To do this, fill them with water, put on fire and cook from the moment of boiling for 8-10 minutes. Drain off hot water and cover eggs with cold water. Leave to cool completely.
  4. Wash the Chinese cabbage, let the excess liquid drain. Cut the Chinese cabbage into strips.
  5. Cut the cheese into medium-sized cubes.
  6. Peel the boiled eggs, cut into halves and remove the yolks. Salad yolks are not required. Boiled yolks can be used to prepare other dishes. Cut the egg whites into medium cubes.
  7. Cut the cooled chicken fillet into medium cubes.
  8. Prepare a dressing. Peel the garlic and pass through a press. In a deep container, combine sour cream (I have sour cream with a fat content of 15%), mustard, chopped garlic, lemon juice and a pinch of salt. Choose the amount of salt to taste, depending on the salinity of the feta cheese. Stir.
  9. Combine Chinese cabbage, feta cheese, chicken fillet and egg whites in a bowl. Add dressing.
  10. Mix thoroughly. Try the salad and add salt if desired.
  11. Salad with chicken, Chinese cabbage, feta cheese and sour cream-mustard dressing is ready.
