Instructions

  1. Separate the eggs and beat the egg whites until stiff. Then stir the egg yolks with the sugar until foamy until a white cream is formed. Cut the vanilla pod lengthways and add the pulp to the egg mixture.
  2. Mix about a third of the egg whites with the flour and egg yolk mixture. Carefully fold in the remaining egg whites. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.
  3. Spread the margarine on an ovenproof dish with a high rim and pour in the milk, it should be about 1 centimeter high in the form.
  4. Use a spatula to place the mixture side by side in the form and bake for about 15 to 20 minutes until golden. Dust the dumplings with powdered sugar immediately before serving.
