Scottish Eggs

They say that Scottish housewives have Scottish eggs a very popular dish. Maybe this is due to the fact that men wear kilts there. And we call our eggs, baked in minced meat, “hare”. But I must admit that it is more convenient to cook in Scottish.

Ingredients

  • Eggs – 6 boiled eggs and 1 raw
  • Mixed minced meat – 500 g
  • Bulb onions – 1 pc.
  • Young garlic – 1 head
  • Rusks – 3/4 cup dry white bread crumbs
  • Salt
  • Ground black pepper
  • Vegetable oil or other fat for frying

Directions

  1. Foods to cook Scottish eggs.
  2. Add onion, garlic, crackers, raw egg, salt and pepper to the minced meat. We mix it well, beat it off and divide it into 6 servings.
  3. We make a flat cake out of minced meat, in the middle of which we put an egg, and wrap it in minced meat.
    We fry from all sides. You can serve eggs in Scottish style with vegetables, with any side dish.
  4. Scotch eggs ready.
