Ingredients

  • 1 large onion (s)
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 500 g mushrooms (forest mushrooms), cleaned
  • 250 ml vegetable stock
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill
  • 1 cup cream
  • 100 g crème fraîche
  • 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped

Instructions

  1. Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the finely chopped onion in it. Then sweat the very finely diced garlic briefly and add the mushrooms. Also fry lightly, then add the vegetable stock. Simmer gently for 5-10 minutes, then stir in the cream and crème fraîche and season with salt and plenty of black pepper. If necessary, thicken the sauce a little as you like. Sprinkle with the chopped parsley before serving. There is also Sivi`s bread dumplings!
  2. TIP: The forest mushrooms à la crème are also great as a mushroom sauce with briefly fried meat. Possibly add a little more cream and stock.
